Joint Resource Allocation and Transceiver Design for Sum-Rate Maximization Under Latency Constraints in Multicell MU-MIMO Systems

Due to the continuous advancements of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) and multiple antenna techniques, multiuser input output (MU-MIMO) OFDM is a key enabler both fourth fifth generation networks. In this paper, we consider problem weighted sum-rate maximization under latency constraints in finite buffer multicell MU-MIMO systems. Unlike previous works, optimization variables include transceiver beamforming vectors, scheduled packet size resources power domains. This motivated by observation that systems serve quality service classes system performance depends critically on design scheduling algorithm. Since non-convex, resort max-plus queuing method successive convex approximation. We propose centralized decentralized solutions, which practical aspects, such as signaling overhead, are considered. Finally, compare proposed framework with state-of-the-art algorithms relevant scenarios, assuming realistic channel model space, time correlations. Numerical results indicate our provides significant gains over designs based wide-spread saturated buffers assumption, while also outperforming finite-buffer model.
